It is also hard to avoid hyperbole in its praise. After reading their 2007 translation of War and Peace, Orlando Figes, the eminent Russian historian, did not mince words about Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky. We're using the Pevear-Volokhonsky translation, but feel free to take up any of the available translations.
